posted 20 April 2010 06:02 PM EDT (US) Has anyone of you guys came across of such things? We all now of the hot air baloon. One thing i got was 'the moonstone', it's on my general (England) after liberating Bavaria. This moonstone has an efect of +10% chance of assasination and it has a cow on its picture, and it says it shines more than anything. And it seems to be related with the novel Moonstone, it's about this jewel that gets the carrier killed (by other coveting characters) [This message has been edited by alexeu (edited 04-20-2010 @ 06:07 PM).] | |

posted 21 April 2010 00:20 AM EDT (US) 1 / 10 I've not seen seen any interesting traits like that, but what does the hot air balloon do anyway? When I hold my cursor over it, nothing happens, but in the battle map a hot air balloon can be seen floating over the map. Is that it's only function? |
Thrashmad Infantry | posted 21 April 2010 10:59 AM EDT (US) 2 / 10 In Empire I had Master of the Airloom. It gave +4 subterfuge for infiltration and sabotage missions. This comes form the delusion of James Tilly Matthews, who believed that a gang used the Airloom by 'volatile magnetic fluid' to read and influence his and other peoples minds. He probably had schizophrenia, has the delusion fits the symptoms of persecutory delusions, that is quite common for people with paranoid schizophrenia. Thrashmad Infantry | posted 26 April 2010 05:17 AM EDT (US) 5 / 10 When we are talking about traits and retinues, have anyone found a list over traits and retinues in NTW and ETW? I have found good lists for Medieval 2 but not NTW or ETW. posted 26 April 2010 05:29 PM EDT (US) 6 / 10 You'd need to dig into the compressed files to find that information. ETW & NTW are a lot harder to play around with than RTW & M2TW. Let me have a look and see what I can find. TWH Seraph, TWH Grand Zinquisitor & Crazy Gaius the Banstick Kid Got news regarding Total War games that should be publicised? posted 28 April 2010 12:31 PM EDT (US) 8 / 10 I have discovered out what the the hot air balloon does. It makes the enemy deploy first, even if the enemy general has more stars than yours. I found out this when I was attacked by Karl von Österreich-Teschen. He had more stars than Napoleon, but I still deployed second. If you hover the mouse over the text saying 'deploys second', a text box appears, which says something like 'the hot air balloon allows you to see the enemy deploy first'.
